One of i5’s affiliated companies, a funded B2B EnergyTech scale-up, is looking for an experienced Country Manager for Austria. The role involves driving strategic decisions, managing operations, leading local teams, and building key relationships to ensure market success and growth in these regions.

Your Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Market Expansion: Lead sales operations in Austria driving revenue growth through client acquisition, lead generation, and market expansion.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively pursue new business opportunities via outbound sales activities, networking, and other lead generation channels to meet sales targets.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth, adjusting tactics as needed.
- Market Fit & Strategic Planning: Align company objectives with local market conditions, customer needs, and regulations to capitalize on opportunities and optimize strategies.
- Team Leadership & Operational Excellence: Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, overseeing daily operations, budgets, and resources to ensure operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to execute business strategies and adapt them to local needs.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor team performance and provide regular progress reports to the executive team.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for operational integrity.
- Resilience & Persistence: Persist in pursuing sales opportunities, overcoming challenges, and leading by example to motivate the team to meet goals.
Your Profile:
- Energy industry experience is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of expanding revenue significantly. Responsibility for ARR is a plus.
- Several years of experience in business development, growth hacking and/or go to market functions is desired.
- Strong understanding of the country or region's market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- A strong sense of vision, strategy, and innovation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of achieving results, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal interaction skills, communication capabilities, and negotiation techniques.
- Languages: English and German required, any other language is a plus.
- Location: Based in/near Vienna or willing to relocate.
